The Company’s Customer Welfare Policy advocates fairness and transparency in its business dealings with customers in the supply of Semirara coal. Our Company is committed to meet our customer’s quality standards in a mutually fair and satisfactory manner without compromising the business ethics set by the Company.
To protect customer safety and welfare, we abide by the relevant laws, rules and regulations set by the Philippine government as well as International Standards, which include, but are not limited to, the Coal Operating Contract (COC #5), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Quantity and quality determination of each shipment is conducted at the load port in accordance with ASTM and ISO International Standards by a highly technical and competent independent surveyor and witnessed by the customer’s representative. The Company’s standard contract also provides adjustment mechanism for the actual quality and quantity of coal delivered against guaranteed specifications.
